Verdict

A Breeders’ Cup winner last year, MISCHIEF MAGIC was gelded after a couple of poor efforts earlier this season and returned to winning ways in a conditions‘ race at Kempton last month. He’s clear of these at the weights and is the one to beat. Pink Crystal landed a Listed race at Ayr before placing at Ascot while Tacarib Bay had the measure of Aberama Gold when winning a Listed sprint at Newcastle last week. Summerghand won this last year with Exalted Angel back in third while both Willem Twee and Kinta have shown progressive form in handicaps.
