    Verdict

    It is a bit of a surprise to see STEADY MAJOR in a plating race having won a maiden contest at Southwell only last week. He was narrowly beaten over course and distance earlier and has plenty in hand on today's terms with Miss Minuty. The latter is a winner over track and trip and should make a race of it but More Drama has a much stiffer task on these terms and may not even take part given he was due to run at Wolverhampton yesterday.
