This looks a good opportunity for Red Cape to add to his recent Wolverhampton success, with Time For Life and Fusili likely to prove competitive. The selection ran on well to win his over seven furlongs last time, and this step up to a mile looks to be ideal. He clearly handles the surface well and has improvement to come, and with track experience also a plus we will take him to score. Time For Life stayed no eyecatchingly over this course and distance when last seen out and is highly regarded by Hugh Collingridge. If he holds that level of form he will finish closer than fourth here. Fusili ran well on her only start here and came good in claiming company at Wolverhampton last time. She will find this tougher and will do well to follow up unless she can improve. Ms Rainbow Runner is interesting after a very easy win over 10 furlongs here last time. That was another ordinary contest, from which she will have to improve again, which is not certain now she drops back in trip. On balance then, we take Red Cape to go in again.
