Verdict

LLANDINABO LAD showed potential in bumpers so it was no surprise when he comfortably landed a novices' hurdle at Bangor last month and will take some beating. Gemirande, a winner over fences in France in January, was pulled up at Bangor and may need another run. Legends Ryde should make a race of it with the mares' allowance. A winner at Ffos Las in March, she had little chance in a Chepstow Grade 2 last month and though a beaten favourite at Bangor last week had the remainder a long way behind. John Betjeman wasn't beaten far on heavy ground at Chepstow in January and had a couple of runs on the Flat over the summer.
