In depth

Verdict

BAMAKO DU CHATELET gets a token vote after beating Sudden Wish and Dynamo over track and trip three weeks ago. The latter went on to win over 2m here so the form looks solid enough. Henry Smith carries a penalty for last week’s success in an amateurs’ race and Cabuchon is partnered by a 10lb claimer for his return to action having won off a 5lb lower mark here in October. Fleetwood Poppy won here in February but ran a shocker behind the selection last time.
