In depth

Verdict

Axel Jacklin scored over track and trip last month with the blinkers back on and won off a higher mark here at this time last year. But PRINCE ROCK was beaten less than a length by the former having won either side of that and Simon Dow’s charge is taken to reverse running on today’s better terms. Brockey Rise finished in front of previous winner Billyoakes when runner-up in a seller over 6f at Wolverhampton a couple of days ago and this isn’t much tougher while The British Lion is preferred to N Over J on last week’s second at Chelmsford.
