        Verdict

        In the opener, Devon Flame is selected ahead of Blackheath and Pride Of Joy. Just beaten in a seller last time, Devon Flame scores well on adjusted handicap ratings and looks the one to beat here. Blackheath has been running well enough of late to be given a good shout, and he comes out pretty well on adjusted ratings too. Dropping to this grade for the first time, Pride Of Joy also fares fairly well on ratings and must be given some thought. Finally, the best of City For Conquest's form gives him place claims but, for the selection, we return to Devon Flame.
