Holley Shiftwell was quietly fancied for last week's debut over track and trip but fly-jumped the start and unseated her rider. FIRMDECISIONS finished runner-up in that race on his first start since July and normal progress should see him come out best in this given he has more scope than both Con Leche and Twinwood Star. Princess Cammie failed to figure over 6f here last time but earlier placed efforts over today's minimum trip suggest she'll be thereabouts once again in this.
Con Leche 9-4 (8-13) Jumped awkward and went left start, led, headed over 1f out, kept on and no chance with winner, 2nd of 4, 4 1/2l behind Panther Patrol (8-13) at Kempton 5f mdn auc stks (5) pol in Jan.
Firmdecisions (IRE) 5-1 (8-13) Tracked leaders, ridden to chase winner 2f out, stayed on towards finish, not trouble winner, 2nd of 7, 1 3/4l behind Danziger (9-8) at Lingfield 5f mdn stks (5) pol.
Highway United (IRE) 100-1 (8-12) Always towards rear, 11th of 12, 17l behind Heaven's Guest (9-3) at Catterick 5f 2yo mdn (5) sft in Oct.
Holley Shiftwell 3-1 (8-8) Fly leapt start, rider lost iron and was unseated soon after, in a race won by Danziger (9-8) at Lingfield 5f mdn stks (5) pol, 7 ran.
Princess Cammie (IRE) 7-1 (8-12) Held up in last pair, pushed wide on bend 4f out, outpaced over 2f out, rallied to 4th and one pace final furlong, 4th of 7, 3 1/2l behind Malaysian Boleh (9-7) at Lingfield 6f 3yo hcp 0-65 (6) pol.
Twinwood Star (IRE) 12-1 (9-7) Awkwardly away, soon outpaced in rear, ridden and headway over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong to take 2nd towards finish, no impression with winner, 2nd of 6, 2 1/4l behind Prince Of Prophets (9-7) at Wolverhampton 5f hcp (0-55) (6) pol in Jan.
