Verdict

EDGEWORTH went close over a longer trip here recently. He had earlier got the better of today's rival Indian Violet when winning over C&D for the third time and looks the one to beat. Lisahane Bog was not beaten far when fourth here a week ago but doesn't do himself any favours with his habitual slow starts, while Mister Green remains on a winning mark despite a 6lb penalty for his recent win at Kempton. Ede's Dot Com bids for his hat-trick but is facing a tougher task in this better grade.
