Verdict

March On Beetroot was well backed on his debut over 7f at Wolverhampton but found one too good. Supporters will be looking for him to make amends here with that experience under his belt but KINGSCROFT could spoil the party. He has raced three times over 6f on turf so far with a good effort at Newmarket the pick of his form. With this extra furlong likely to suit and his stable registering three winners in the last week, Mark Johnston's charge gets the vote. Ezzles is worth noting on his Polytrack debut and Alston could prove best of the newcomers.
