    In depth

    Verdict

Carmenero is a sporting selection in this impossible looking finale, Nouveau and Excessive both come her in winning form and look to be obvious dangers. The selection has earned top-weight here with some excellent efforts this season, including a victory here back in June. His latest run at Kempton was in a very competitive event and a repeat effort may be good enough this afternoon. Nouveau is another that has enjoyed plenty of success this campaign and was winning for the third time when successful at Windsor last time out. The handicapper hasn't been too harsh and another big run is expected. Excessive gets in here on bottom-weight despite a smooth win last time out at Wolverhampton and she should be thereabouts again. Minaash and Indian's Feather are two others worthy of a mention and so in what is a very tricky contest Carmenero is just a token choice.
