In depth

Verdict

Whittle Le Woods finished second at Southwell last time with Shallow Hal, Asadjumeirah, Muscika and Mighty Gurkha all behind. If You Dare won at Southwell earlier but runner-up JACK’S POINT is preferred. The latter has rediscovered his form since switching to Tony Carroll’s yard and beat a couple of subsequent winners when scoring over course and distance last time. Tommy de Vito missed out on a hat-trick at Kempton but drops down in class today and makes more appeal than Crimson Sand while Mulzim is a prolific winner at Southwell and scored at the latter track in February.
