Verdict

CIRQUE ROYAL will be fancied to defy a penalty having landed the odds with the minimum of fuss at Chelmsford when beating a subsequent winner. This extra distance should suit the Godolphin colt and he’s preferred to Alpasu, second over track and trip on his latest start. Allocator made a promising debut over 1m2f here when sent off favourite while Heavenly Tale also showed ability over the same distance when runner-up on last month’s introduction. Message is related to a host of winners including French Group 2 winner Masterstroke and is a newcomer to note.
