Verdict

The top trio were all beaten favourites earlier in the year and Captain Claude had his first run back at Ffos Las on Sunday where he had a hard race on the heavy ground. Bobalot has been very disappointing since scoring over this trip at Chepstow but goes well fresh and is now on a lower mark. Brandisova was on a hat-trick when beaten at Huntingdon and may be a few pounds high. WILLIAMDECONQUEROR has never won but was beaten less than a length when fifth at Worcester in April and providing the ground does not turn testing can make a successful reappearance.
