In depth

Verdict

Tabjeel returned a losing favourite when third on his racecourse debut at Nottingham. But the first two home have both been well beaten since and OLD GUARD looks a safer bet. He found one too good at Windsor last time but finished four lengths clear of the rest and looks likely to improve further in this. Kicking The Can was a long way behind the winner despite making the frame over a mile here last month while the 140,000 euros purchase Numrood is worth noting making his racecourse debut.
