      Verdict

      FORGOTTEN HERO is entered in both the Dante and Derby but is kept to a mile for now. He won his maiden here last month without breaking sweat and we'll find out how good Charlie Hills' colt is today if the much higher rated Talwar runs up to form. The latter was outclassed in the Racing Post Trophy behind Camelot at the end of last season but his earlier victory in the Solario Stakes is a better indication of his ability. Masterel is hard to assess on his first start for Marco Botti though he's a Listed race winner in Italy and should go well while Prince Alzain is stepped up in class having won a couple of races at Wolverhampton late last year. Spykes Bay and Viola D'Amour look up against it in this company.
