Rock Icon has changed stables and has yet to reach a place in six all-weather starts. He generally goes well for an apprentice so should give today's rider a chance of gaining her first success. Bloodsweatandtears has won five times on Turf but never in 26 starts on the all-weather though he was staying on strongly over the track and trip in March and will have come on for a recent run. Flying Sakhee is 0-22 which hardly inspires confidence though he was having his first start over this trip since his debut when just failing to catch Cookie Ring at Kempton. That was a poor contest but this isn't much better and Stephen Cummins is again on board so a big run is expected. RAVENHOE is Mark Johnston's only runner at the meeting. He's another with a poor all-weather record which is an obvious factor in his handicap mark, his lowest in 54 starts so he gets a speculative vote in a poor contest.
