A tricky heat of this split seven furlong handicap may see Mistral Sky complete a hat-trick over Teyaar, Ripple Effect, Mahool, and Jagged. In a race in which not even the topweight Dorchester can be discounted, Mistral Sky gets the vote. Steve Drowne takes over in the plate from Jamie Spencer who has been on board for the four-year-old's two back-to-back victories at Leicester and here, and is sure to do a good job. The move to Stefanie Liddiard from Roger Ingram seems to have revitalised the selection who quickened up well last time, and although he has a bit more on his plate, Mistral Sky will surely be in the shake-up. Like Mistral Sky, Teyaar has improved of late for a change of stables but has yet to win over seven furlongs, and may be found wanting at the finish, while Ripple Effect is another with stamina limitations, but does take a drop in grade. Jagged caught the eye when beaten narrowly over the course and distance 11 days ago, and even though upped in class, can make a bold bid for the frame. In what is sure to be a hard-fought event, Mistral Sky gets a tentative vote.
