Savoy Chapel looks set to run a big race here, with Gurrun and Missed Turn possibly proving to be the biggest dangers. Savoy Chapel has been running well from around this mark recently and more of the same puts him firmly in the picture. Josear finished six lengths ahead of Yardstick over a longer trip last time, but raced very freely that day. The drop in trip could suit, as might first-time blinkers for the latter. Gurrun's third in a seven-furlong handicap here last time was a step in the right direction and, with the extra furlong likely to suit, has to be given a chance. Missed Turn's second to Spence Appeal last time also warrants respect at this kind of level, although that run did come in a seller. Of the others, Kirkhammerton has shown little on Turf in four starts but the step up in trip should at least help and, with the others looking modest, we turn again to Savoy Chapel, who gets our vote in this race.
