        Verdict

        Roger Varian’s yard remains in top form and SHIKHOVA gets the vote despite returning from an absence. She bled from the nose at Ascot on her debut back in May and is fitted with a hood for this. Samba Lady has been off the track even longer having ran well at Windsor in April while Molly Valentine has undergone wind surgery since racing at Newmarket during the summer. Secret Contact may prove best of those with more recent debuts under their belts.
