        Verdict

        Deer Song made all over the minimum trip at Kempton in October but never threatened over track and trip last time. Chip Or Pellet also scored over 5f when successful at Newcastle but was behind fifth-placed BILLYOAKES at Wolverhampton on his latest start. The latter was winning off an 8lb higher mark at the end of last year and it could be his turn again today. Merdon Castle is another back on a winning mark if at his best while Mister Freeze won at Southwell back in January and Compton Prince occasionally pops up in this grade when the mood takes him.
