      Verdict

      Andrew Balding looks to have found a good opportunity for his new charge NOTRE BELLE BETE. Without a win in seven starts in Ireland, the latter went close on more than one occasion and is the one to beat if running anywhere near a mark of 87. The others with experience have shown little so far, including Waltons Grove, but his stablemate Dark Icon is related to a winner on the all-weather and is preferred to the other newcomer Silver Byrne.
