in touch, ridden over 2f out, weakened quickly over 1f out, eased final furlong
close up, outpaced 2f out and lost position, wide straight, ran on final furlong to take 3rd close home
towards rear, headway on inside to chase leaders well over 1f out, kept on one-paced final furlong
led, headed just over 1f out, kept on, not pace of winner
with leader to 2f out, weakened over 1f out
started slowly, soon in touch and raced freely, headway on inside over 1f out, soon led, driven clear inside final furlong
prominent and wide, hung badly left from 3f out, weakened 2f out
towards rear, behind when unbalanced and checked 2f out, one-paced afterwards
held up midfield, ridden 2f out and soon beaten
prominent, ridden 2f out, no impression on leaders
always behind, wide straight, never dangerous
started slowly, reluctant to race, always rear, some headway over 1f out, never dangerous
This does not look a great deal better than the seller that The Baroness won here over five furlongs last month (Service held) and she can follow up that success. The Stuart Williams-trained filly overcame an absence since July to land a gamble (backed from 33/1 to 12/1) to win in good style on her all-weather debut and, with further improvement to come, the daughter of Blues Traveller looks worth a bet again. Queens Jubilee lost no caste in defeat behind Scarlet Secret in a course and distance seller last time and should again be thereabouts as should the Alan Jarvis-trained Frimley's Matterry who finished half a length adrift of her in that race. Nick Littmoden's Sporting Affair drops into selling company for the first time and has to be respected with her stable continuing in such good form. Forceful, who has a two month absence to overcome, is not certain to stay the trip. The others make limited appeal in a poor contest.
