Verdict

Breden beat Isomer four lengths at Kempton in November and went in again at Chelmsford last month. Another bold bid is expected in his current form while Chevallier landed a double here at this time last year and recent placed efforts suggest he’ll be winning again soon. MY TARGET was at the height of his powers in 2017 and included this contest in a hat-trick of course and distance wins. He’s slid down the weights subsequently and having finished runner-up at Newcastle last month, Michael Wigham’s charge may yet have another win in him. Contrast is helped by an apprentice’s allowance today while Mickey and Apex King were both due to run in the same race here yesterday.
