A very open contest here and we have narrowed it down to Averami, Bahama Belle and Doctor Dennis, with the last named just getting the vote. The selection is the oldest member of the field but showed he still retains plenty of ability when finishing a close up third to Long Weekend over the six furlong trip here last time. He is just as effective over this longer distance and should have the measure of these rivals. Averami had shown very little before landing a banded race here in December and wasn't disgraced next time behind Tango Step, she should be involved in the finish again today. Bahama Belle is at the top of her game at present, having beaten today's rival Orchestration at Wolverhampton last month. She should be in there fighting at the end of today's contest. Aquila Loco and Lilly Of The Guild are two others in with a squeak here, so as mentioned at the start it could be a bit of a lottery, but Doctor Dennis has as good a chance as any and gets the nod
