New Orleans, rated 69, is the only one of these with racecourse experience but he hardly sets an exacting standard having been beaten twice in handicaps recently. EXCELLERATION’s dam has produced winners with all three of her offspring to race, including Railway Stakes winner Painted Cliffs. He’s by top-class miler Excelebration, who won over 6f as a juvenile, so should have the pace for this. Dream Catching shouldn’t be short of speed either and makes more appeal than the filly Golden Iris.
