Mr Mac won a similar race over track and trip at this time last year and there was more promise in his latest third. He’s back on a decent mark while Holiday Magic was only beaten a neck here nine days ago, though fourth Fortissimo has a chance of reversing that form if first-time blinkers have the desired effect. FIRST LINK usually keeps much better company than this. She had no chance carrying overweight here last month but can race off her correct mark today and deserves to get her head back in front. The Groove, Violet's Lads and Gottardo are others to consider.
