Verdict
DESQUE DE L’ISLE has been raised 9lb after winning over course and distance on last month’s comeback. But he appeared to score with plenty in hand and can go in again in this company. Away For Slates was still beaten a long way when third at Fontwell but should be sharper today while Impulsive Leader was placed at Market Rasen back in March and has undergone wind surgery since. Celma Des Bois missed the whole of last year and was pulled-up on his only start so far this year while Clondaw Robin has failed to complete the last twice.
