Verdict

ALBANITA (NAP) makes plenty of appeal in this opener. Placed over 1m2f on her seasonal reappearance, improvement is expected for Sir Mark Prescott’s filly stepping up in trip in first-time headgear and she gets the vote. Oliver Hardy completed a double at Brighton in June but has been raised 9lb for his latest success. He still has the beating of course and distance runner-up Arthur Pendragon on collateral form but Earl Of Harrow’s bid for a hat-trick failed when well beaten at Windsor and he steps back up in trip. Geomatrician also attempts a longer distance on only his second start in a handicap.
