Verdict

AUDIO returned a losing favourite at Goodwood last time and has been gelded since. He steps up in distance on his first start since May and could prove good enough in this lesser company. Souter Johnnie never threatened when sixth at Salisbury on his debut but that’s still better form than the others with experience have shown so far. Of the newcomers, Laikaparty represents last year’s winning yard and is preferred to Rushcutters Bay but Quimerico is a half-brother to five winners and is another worth a second glance.
