      Verdict

      Ed Walker looks to have found a good opportunity for CLEAR SPELL. The latter just failed to hang on for victory over course and distance last month and any further progress should him off the mark. He looks to have the edge on Ganymede, fifth on his racecourse debut here, while Secret Pursuit faded quickly once beaten over track and trip on her introduction. Ostralegus and Aldeburgh will do well to figure giving so much weight to the three-year-olds.
