The Lacemaker is fitted with a tongue-tie having won over track and trip recently. But she had earlier finished well behind KATH’S LUSTRE when the latter scored at Chelmsford and Richard Hughes’ filly is fancied to go close again raised only 3lb having also beaten another subsequent winner on that occasion. Velvet Morn has yet to threaten in a handicap though is less exposed than the likes of Daring Guest and Kingsley Klarion, who both won their penultimate starts but were beaten off higher marks last time. Napping’s earlier success here came on the Turf course and she remains 5lb higher in the weights.
