Blend might provide the answer here and is selected ahead of maybe Abandon and Scotch Pancake. Where to start; Brocatello has shown some promise without sparkling on his two runs to date and there is no guarantee that the all-weather will bring improvement. Peas 'n Beans was placed in a Turf handicap off 51 last time, and surely there are better options among his rivals. Abandon was led out as unsold at 370,000 dollars in the sales ring and is a very interesting newcomer, while Blend has shown some promise and today's tip could bring about further improvement. Moonshadow has yet to build on early promise, while Scotch Pancake improved for her debut on the all-weather debut to finish second last time, form that warrants granting her consideration. Shahmina was too easily put in her place last time to carry confidence this time, while Stout needs to step up on her form but her best Turf efforts would give Sybella a shout. Overall, though, the vote goes to Blend.
