Dixie's Double has been placed in both starts without threatening the winner and Princess Holly has failed to to build on an earlier second at Brighton in a couple of subsequent starts. So this looks open to a newcomer and Luxford is worth noting in the betting along with Mercers, a half-sister to several winning sprinters on the all-weather. But ASSERTOR makes most appeal on breeding given she is related to four winners including the Listed sprinter Edge Closer and Tony Carroll’s filly gets a speculative vote.
