In depth

Verdict

Only one of these managed to get involved on his latest outing and that was Windsor runner-up Arctic Lynx. But he steps up a grade today and has just the one victory on Turf in 18 attempts. Jillnextdoor finished a length ahead of Exceptionelle when seventh in a Listed event at Bath last time and both will be more at home in this lesser company but Pearl Blue would prefer slower ground. BARNET FAIR won a Class 2 sprint at Ascot last term and Lee Carter's charge gets the speculative vote with a run at Kempton under his belt. Judge 'n Jury hasn't won since 2012 and Normal Equilibrium has struggled since scoring at Chester at this time last year.
