    Verdict

    CARIAD has won three of her last five, the latest over the track and trip where she appeared to have a bit in hand. She can defy a 3lb rise though the other three-year-old in the race, Silver Nightfall, only just failed to get up over 7f here after scoring over that trip at Newcastle. Wadacre Grace has been running well but looking a few pounds high after landing a Newcastle handicap in September while Simply Gorgeous, who lost her maiden tag at Chelmsford last month, didn't run up to that form here on Saturday.
