In depth

Verdict

Just Bill appeared to be travelling as well as anything off the home turn at Chepstow last time but didn't appear to get home. This shorter trip may be more to his liking, though he did win over 3m between the flags. Georgieshore will probably make the running but steps up in distance and Bassarabad is more interesting if returning to the form which saw him just beaten over a similar trip at Chepstow in December. BAGGING TURF looks a chasing type but she'll have learned plenty from her second at Towcester and may be capable of going one better. Manhattan Mead has ability but is proving hard to catch right.
