          Verdict

          LANAI wasn't beaten far in her first two starts on Turf in May and would have needed her run at Southwell last month when beaten 7l into second. She should improve and gets the vote. Soft Love came here last month and almost snatched victory but was headed on the line by Dusty Blue. The winner and third have been beaten subsequently so Kevin Ryan's filly will need to make further progress. O Dee makes a belated debut but she was a relatively expensive purchase and has speed to burn in her pedigree so the market should be watched.
