Verdict

In this small field five timer seeking Mutamared will have his supporters but we will side with handicap form and CHJIMES while Thoughtsof stardom and the rest of the field have their work cut out to get close to these two. The pick was a ready winner last time after a 60-day break, a run that connections believed he needed and would come on from. With that in mind and the with the manner of that success the three pound rise in his mark is unlikely to stop him. Mutamared was once successful in much better races than this but has done all of his winning in claiming company recently. This represents a step up in class from recent runs and although he's off a winnable mark now his very best is behind him. The others in the contest are not given much of a chance with Thoughtsofstardom the best of the rest based on a few handicaps wins this winter but is mark is now too much for him so Chjimes looks the one to beat.
