Verdict

King Torus has been woefully out of sorts since winning at Wolverhampton in October while Barren Brook was beaten in a seller on Turf here in May and was only fourth in a claimer over track and trip earlier. JAMHOORI carries a welter burden but has already won here and at Wolverhampton this year and was second over hurdles at Sedgefield when last seen - he should outclass these. Captain Felix is preferred to Bognor and Sutton Sid of the others.
