    Verdict

WHITECREST won last year's renewal off a 3lb higher mark. John Spearing's mare could well go in again given Saved My Bacon was raised 9lb for winning at Chelmsford in April and was well beaten back at the same track last time. Ya Halla also has something to prove carrying 6lb extra after scoring at Nottingham and Where The Boys Are is preferred off her current mark having gone very close at Pontefract on her penultimate start. Princess Tansy may be capable of better now handicapping for the first time.
