        Verdict

        CALEDONIA LAIRD was beaten less than a length over track and trip last time and should go close again partnered by a leading amateur in Serena Brotherton. Gary Moore sent out last year’s winner and Becky Butler takes 5lb off the back of Alketios while Two In The Pink won one of these events last year. Seek The Fair Land does most of his winning in plating races nowadays while Chelwood Gate has yet to win over 7f though went close over a mile here on his penultimate start.
