In depth

Verdict

MONET’S SUNRISE finished third in a maiden at Ascot in September and the race has worked out well with the winner rated 92 and the runner-up subsequently winning. The Hannon charge gets the vote on that form and is preferred to stablemate and newcomer Whirlwind. Francesi also returns to action having run well at Chelmsford last term while Red Kite wasn’t beaten far when last of four runners at Southwell more recently.
