In a wide open finale, Young Kate can gain an overdue victory, from Dexilios and Margaret's Dream. Young Kate wasn't beaten far behind Latif at Wolverhampton last time and had shown plenty of ability here previously. The pick of her course runs was when chasing home Homebred Star in November and if repeating that effort she will be hard to beat. Dexileos was well supported last time at Southwell but was well beaten behind Christian Bendix after a slow start. On previous course efforts he holds strong claims and if starting on terms today should make his presence felt. Margaret's Dream was well beaten at Southwell last time, but is much better here at Lingfield and she must hold solid place claims. Coronado Forest would be there or thereabouts on the best of his form, but our idea of the winner is Young Kate.
