Most of these are out of form and so recent winner General Feeling is a confident choice to beat Corky and Tregarron. Sylvester Kirk's four-year-old was the decisive winner of a six furlong event here last time. He has plenty of form over longer trips as well and should be followed in this sort of mood. Richard Hannon has been doing well on the all-weather recently and supplies both of the dangers. Corky landed a Yarmouth handicap very easily indeed before finishing six lengths behind Dr Thong in a competitive race here. He is well in on official ratings and will be hard to keep out of the money. Tregarron has a bit to find with his stable companion on Yarmouth running but has shown excellent form here in the past and cannot be ruled out in this pretty weak affair. Ever Cheerful could be the best of the outsiders, but General Feeling is the choice on current form and gets our vote.
