The usual caution with regard to the market is advised but without reference to the betting, we are with SEQUILLO with Beraimi and Penang Princess the others to make appeal. Sequillo is not particuarly well served from today's draw but as a son of Lucky Story there is every reason to believe that he will get a mile and the fact that there was some cash in the ring ahead of his recent outing at Goodwood suggests that he cannot be completely without ability. Beraimi stayed on stoutly over seven furlongs at Sandown. He is bred to be effective over shorter but he won't be too far away at this level. Ralph Beckett has an 18% strike rate with his juveniles this term so Penang Princess is worth more than a cursory glance in the betting. Bad Baron was well turned over at Brighton but may not have acted on the track. Bertie Smalls is bred to be better over further and was well held on introduction. Doran's Lodge is closely related to Misternando so one would imagine that a mile would be plenty sharp enough even at this early stage of his career. A tough one to start proceedings and Sequillo is the form pick.
