Verdict

BRASS RING hasn't raced since May but showed good progress before that. He beat a subsequent Listed winner on his handicap debut at Newmarket and entries in both the Yorkshire Cup and Coronation Cup suggest he's retained his ability. Hunting Ground and Swing Alone have been running well in tough handicaps on this surface, but Viewpoint may well reverse latest running with the latter with a recent run under his belt. Commissar is upped in class after last week's win at Kempton and Glorious Protector is open to further improvement this season.
