      Verdict

      Several progressive types are engaged in a tight-looking handicap. Harwoods Volante has now won three of his eight starts, all over 6f, so he has to prove himself over this trip. Joohaina landed a Wolverhampton maiden before beaten on her handicap debut in a lesser grade event than this on the same track. Pool House has been making steady progress and made all over this trip at Kempton last time so a 3lb rise doesn't look harsh. Bretherton was up against two in-form rivals at Kempton after his Southwell victory but didn't quite have enough pace. This trip is in his favour as it is for Can't Change It, who found 1m2f much too far last time after scoring over a mile here. OUTBACKER has been hanging badly in her races but it didn't prevent her scoring over 6f here in January. She's making her handicap debut with a light weight and can make it count.
