      Verdict

      Royal Alcor lines-up for his fifth start of the year having been well beaten here at the weekend. Stablemate Layline plus St Ignatius look high enough in the weights at present while The Blue Dog is upped in class. Echo Brava and Scottish Star finished almost upsides when placed over 1m4f here last time with Slip Of The Tongue well beaten in the same race behind Blue Wave. The latter is trained by Mark Johnston and he runs recent Wolverhampton winner DOLDRUMS, who is taken to defy a penalty and go in again.
