Hard to get a handle on this seller with the leading players all on the downgrade it seems, although Jim Best thought CARLTON SCROOP worth claiming after the eight-year-old scored at Wolverhampton when last seen on the level. He's disappointed twice since over timber but has good claims back on the all weather where he has won or been placed in more than half of his 33 starts. Brett Johnson has double claims with Eagle Nebula and Evident Pride with preference for the latter as he has some fair low-grade handicap form to his name this year. Camps Bay is not in form at present but would be a definite player if returning to anything like his best.
